Natural, unposed photographs. My job as a photographer is to put you in the best light, help you relax and give you just a little direction to make sure you look as beautiful as you feel. If you have a partner and other family members in your maternity photographs, I’ll encourage lots of interaction and playfulness to show your family connection. And who doesn’t love a heart-melting belly kiss photo 🙂
Beautiful light. I photograph all maternity sessions around sunset to take advantage of the warm, soft late afternoon light. This ensures your pregnancy photos have a golden glow and are full of warmth.
Close-ups of your belly. At your maternity photography session I make sure to take photos of your bump to provide some variety in your photographs. If you’re bringing your partner I love getting close-up photos of both of your hands wrapped around your belly.
Black and white photos. Black and white photographs have a timeless, classic feel. By stripping away the colour, you can focus on the emotion of the moment. When designing your albums and other artwork at your ordering appointment, you’ll be able to have your photographs in colour or black and white.
