How much is a newborn photo shoot?
The Delight Images photography studio is in Sutherland, about 40 minutes south of Sydney CBD. It is private, quiet and clean with lots of natural light, and fully cleaned between sessions to ensure your family’s safety.
Your newborn family portrait experience is $200 which includes a discovery call, what to wear guide, 1-2 hour family photo shoot in my studio, and an 8×12″ matted fine-art print ($450 value).
Families typically choose to invest $1500-2000 in their family portrait artwork, though there is no minimum spend and no obligation to purchase.
how do you keep my baby safe?
What age is best for my newborn photo shoot?
As a dad of three girls, I know how important it is to keep your little one safe. Trust in my 15+ years of experience handling newborn babies, to keep your baby secure and happy during your photo shoot. I want you to relax and enjoy the experience, knowing that your baby is in good hands. At every newborn photo shoot, I take safety measures including:
- Cleaning the studio between shoots
- Using hand sanitiser throughout
- Washing all props afterwards
- Asking a parent to “spot” the baby if they are lying on any props
The first 7-10 days after birth are ideal for your newborn photos. Bub is generally more sleepy and easier to curl up into cute poses. If you prefer to wait until they’re slightly older and more alert/expressive, that’s fine too.
Can we bring older siblings?
How long does the PHOTO Shoot take?
Of course! I love capturing the whole family in your newborn photos (including pets).
Your newborn photo shoot typically takes 1-2 hours, depending on how settled bub is. I only do one newborn shoot per day so you’ll have plenty of time to feed, soothe and settle your baby. After all, a happy baby equals happy parents equals beautiful photos!
