I hear this all the time from parents who are worried about getting nice photos of their kids at their photo shoot.

Some of the best moments happen when your little ones are just being themselves—running around, pulling faces, giving you a spontaneous hug, or finding something completely random (like a stick. It’s always a stick 😂).

I’m not expecting perfection. I’m not even expecting stillness.

What I am expecting is movement, personality, and all the beautifully real stuff that makes your family yours.

So if you’re stressing that your kids won’t “behave”… let that go. Seriously.

Let them play, explore, and just do their thing—I promise that’s where the magic happens.

Today, on International Women’s Day, I’m celebrating the incredible women in my life—one beautiful woman and three almost-women who remind me every day what strength, love, and resilience look like. Watching them grow and shine is the biggest joy of my life.

Through my photography, I get to witness the power of motherhood, the quiet sacrifices, the big belly laughs, and the deep, unconditional love. It’s a privilege to capture these moments and tell these stories.
