My brother-in-law received a life-saving heart transplant and I'm on a mission to give back.

Why this campaign exists

A cause that's very close to home.

In 2021, during covid, my brother-in-law Mark suffered a massive heart attack and was placed on life support. Thanks to the miracle workers at St Vincent's Hospital Sydney, he was given a second chance at life - receiving an unbelievable and complex surgery to be fitted with an LVAD (a mechanical heart), which served as a bridging device until he received a life-saving heart transplant.

His story not only involves the incredible medical team, but also the families who watch a loved one suffer, and the selfless donor families who make an incredibly difficult - yet life-saving - decision to give the gift of life to someone in need.

So I'm on a mission to give back - and I'd love for you to be part of it. ❤️

Sink into my studio sofa and enjoy your photos on the big screen for the first time. I'll guide you through choosing your favourites and designing artwork that's perfect for your home.

Artwork Collection

In 2-3 weeks your finished artwork is ready to collect. Hang it. Admire it. Know that it went towards saving lives. 5% of all artwork sales donated directly to the hospital.

This is the most common thing I hear - and it's almost always connected to bad experiences with candid shots or rushed sessions where nobody guided you. A guided portrait session is completely different. I'll walk you through every moment and keep the mood light.
Perfect - because the session isn't about sitting still. I work with your kids' energy, not against it. Before a single photo is taken, I give the kids time to warm up and get comfortable in the studio. Chaotic sessions often produce the best and most genuine photos.
It's a perfect time. Whether it's a new baby, a new grandchild, or simply the first time your whole family has been together in a while, this session is a beautiful way to mark that moment. I'll help you capture everyone together, exactly as your family is right now.
This is covered. Before your session, I provide personalised styling guidance to help you put together a cohesive look for everyone involved. Whether you love bright colours or prefer a more muted palette, you don't have to figure it out alone.
Yes. Your discounted $150 session fee includes $150 credit to put toward any artwork or digital files you love from your design consultation. There's no obligation to purchase anything beyond that - what you see is genuinely what you get. That said, most families end up falling in love with far more photos than they expected, and choose to bring home the whole set.
$90 of your $150 session fee is donated directly to St Vincent's Hospital Sydney for heart research. On top of that, 5% of everything you purchase at your design consultation is also donated.
My studio is at 800 Old Princes Highway, Sutherland NSW - about 45 minutes south of Sydney CBD, with easy parking. Families from all across Sydney make the trip regularly and say it's well worth it.

G'day, I'm Jay.

I'm a portrait photographer based in the beautiful Sutherland Shire in Sydney.

Being a dad to three (STUNNING) girls has shown me just how important it is to be in the photos, not just taking them. Whether I'm photographing a family who've been "meaning to do it for years," welcoming a new baby into the family, or bringing the grandparents together with the whole crew - my approach is the same: get to know you first, keep things relaxed and fun, and create results that actually feel like you.

When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me at home with my crew, baking banana bread in the air fryer and having cuddles with Bonnie - our sooky blue Staffy.
